Between 1962, date of publication of Capitalism and Freedom and on 1980, election of Reagan, he contributed to put a blow of stopping in the expansion of the Welfare State in USA.
His centenary in 2012 is going to be an extraordinary opportunity to introduce it a little better in France and to confront its ideas with reality and with differents criticisms which are addressed to him.
This blog is therefore enlivened by a will to follow debate. Friedman was a big teacher, both in his pounds and in his programs of TV. It has never refused to discuss with his adversaries. In its suite, it is up to us to make live its thought, both on philosophical plan and on economic plan.
